According to OnSight.co.uk, after workflow planning for the three-day, 20-camera shoot, it was up to On Sight to make sure everything went smoothly. Axis Films took care of all HD cameras (including 15 REDs) as well as the production equipment. Axis Films also supplied DITs to manage all of the digital rushes produced during the three sold-out shows.

The seamless production was completed by the HD Lab who provided conform, online, mastering and deliverable services for Serpent Productions, who regularly work with some of the world's best-known artists.

AC/DC singer Brian Johnson said in a recent interview that the band has no immediate plans following the set's release, explaining, "We just want to have a rest, because we were on the road for two years. We played in front of five million people, and we deserve a rest."

Footage from AC/DC's Buenos Aires concerts was previously used in the video for the band's classic album cut "Shoot To Thrill", which served as the first single from AC/DC's "Iron Man 2" soundtrack (featuring catalog material from the mid-1970s onwards). The video also incorporated exclusive footage from "Iron Man 2".

The Buenos Aires concerts were part of AC/DC's highly acclaimed "Black Ice World Tour", the second-highest-grossing world tour of 2009, according to concert industry trade publication Pollstar.

ELECTRIC BOYS in 2009 released a 20-track "best-of" collection, titled "Now Dig This!", via Spinefarm Records. It features songs from the band's three studio albums, including "Psychedelic Eyes", "Mary In The Mystery World", "Groovus Maximus", "The Groover", "Rags To Riches", "Captain Of My Soul" plus a 2009 remix of "All Lips N' Hips", along of course with the original version, a longstanding staple of rock clubs around the world.

Formed in 1988, ELECTRIC BOYS achieved recognition around the known rock'n'roll world with signature hit single "All Lips N' Hips" plus a series of albums that tapped into the very essence of long-haired, leather-trousered, late-night cool.

Touring alongside bands such as THUNDER and MR. BIG, and drinking from the same well as rock legends like AEROSMITH, the band offered an alternative to the late '80s hair-metal scene, fusing hard rock and heavy funk to create an instantly recognizable style ("Groovus Maximus") built riff by riff on the sturdiest possible foundations, unswervingly provided by drummer Niklas Sigevall.

Lauded by the media, feted by the industry, respected by the top producers of the day (including Bob Rock) and supported by a genuinely international fanbase, the ELECTRIC BOYS — led into action by flamboyant frontman Conny Bloom, who has continued to play and record both under his own name and with SILVER GINGER 5 and HANOI ROCKS, as well as appearing in TV ads for Jameson Whiskey — consistently showed that the great rock'n'roll dream was available in many colours, and that the sitar did indeed have a serious part to play!

Eddie Trunk, the co-host of the VH1 Classic television program "That Metal Show", was interviewed about the band's impact for one of the DVD's bonus features. He wrote last year on his blog, "[The company which is releasing the DVD is] doing some cleanups to the audio and video and making it as high-def as the source will allow." He added, "I can tell you I have an advance and it looks and sounds great, but they are making it even better!"

According to the All Music Guide, "Let There Be Rock" was released in France a year after it was filmed, though American release was delayed until well after the band had established themselves in the States with new vocalist Brian Johnson and the multi-platinum success of the "Back In Black" album.

In his review of the original "Let There Be Rock" film, Fred Beldin of the All Music Guide wrote, "Director Eric Dionysis captures the excitement of the live show with an energetic style and effective close-up shots, though the staged interviews and sub-'The Song Remains The Same' fantasy sequences show the band to be bemused but not convinced by these attempts to add some arty depth to the proceedings. The highlight of the extracurricular segments is Bon Scott, radiating warmth and humility in these last interviews before his untimely death at age 33 from alcohol poisoning."

VAN HALEN - New Album Due In August?

According to Australia's Triple M, VAN HALEN are locking in dates for an Aussie tour to support a new album that should be out by August this year.

"Van Halen dates are getting locked in. They'll be here with David Lee Roth," reporter Nui Te Koha announced this morning on Triple M Melbourne's Hot Breakfast, "Van Halen representatives were here with THE EAGLES during the Eagles tour in December.

He added: "They're recording a new album at the moment. [Guitarist] Eddie Van Halen says he doesn't want to do any shows until there is new material. And that new material should be out by August."

In a new interview with ABC News Radio, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony (CHICKENFOOT) says he's "excited" that his former band are working on new material.

Van Halen are currently in the studio with producer John Shanks, recording their first album with David Lee Roth in more than 25 years, and their first new music as a band in 7 years.

"I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do," says Anthony, adding that he has "no hard feelings" about his split from the band in 2005, when he was replaced by Eddie Van Halen's son, Wolfgang.

Anthony hasn't spoken to any of the members of VH since the end of the band's 2004 reunion tour with Sammy Hagar, built to promote the ill-conceived two-disc, greatest hits set, Best Of Both Worlds.

Eddie did not want Michael to be a part of the ’04 trek, forcing him to take a pay cut and signing over his rights to any future use of the VH name. After failed attempts at working with Roth, the band needed Hagar for the tour, who refused to sign on unless Anthony was a part of it.

"The tour did not end as harmoniously as we would have liked it to and it probably should have gone on longer than it did," said Anthony.

Despite being publicly slammed by Eddie for the better part of 30 years, Michael remains the diplomat, even going so far as to say that he wouldn't be against having his band Chickenfoot open for VH, should they go on tour.

"I got no problem with that," said the bassist.

Something tells me Hagar might feel differently on that one.

Chickenfoot are also in the studio right now, working on their sophomore album.
